Used this for about a week now, this is what I felt.
In terms of audio quality, Sony pairing this with the headphone app is one of the best moves. Though the environment adjusting feature- switching to noise cancelling and ambient is a bit annoying when you're at work, the audio balance is achieved spot on.
After close to 10 hours of burn in, I felt the plausible audio quality improvement. In terms of battery, 35 hours is something you'll take an eternity to reach. The "Bright" mode on the headphone app with minor adjustments has been my favourite for warm sound.
Though the build quality is something that they've compromised on a bit, and the foam could have been denser for the cups, I still feel they've done a very impressive job compared to the 710n in terms of material usage.
I really wish you haven't reached till this part of the review just to keep searching for negatives. This is well worth the under 10k budget for ANC activated headphones. If someone asked me if I'd buy it again, as Hetfield said, "Yeahhhhh!!!"
