You must have most likely noticed that wireless signals do not travel an infinite distance. The farther a wireless signal goes, the weaker it gets. This loss is known as path loss, and it defines the range of connectivity. This range of connectivity is dependent on the wireless protocol in use like Bluetooth. Assembly & Inspection

Post product assembly two divisions are made - used and defective/damaged. Defective products are inspected for possible repairs.

SOUNDCHECK & FEATURE CHECK

A Headphone Zone Inspector will check the sound and other functionality of the products. For wireless products, features like gesture controls, pairing and charging are also inspected.

PHYSICAL CLEANING

After the sound check, the ear tips are replaced, earpieces are thoroughly disinfected, and the cables are cleaned with rubbing alcohol.

Repackaging

The product is neatly packed. The available supplementary accessories are also packed within the box. Refurbished units may or may not have all the accessories.

Sign off for Stocking

Finally, the Inspector will personally sign off on the stocks. The product is finally added to sellable refurbished stock.
