HiBy’s latest Android music player is here, the brand new HiBy RS6. HiBy has designed the RS6 based on their self-developed Darwin Architecture using the classic R2R ladder array DAC. The latest RS6 has brought several high-tech functions such as R-2R ladder DAC array, Linear FIR Filter, Nonlinear Harmonics Control, Switchable Oversampling/NOS bypass on a portable device. HiBy RS6 comes with Android 9 OS with full 16x MQA decoding support. It offers systemwide bit-perfect audio with HiBy’s Direct Transport Architecture. HiBy has designed it with four output ports. The user interface is buttery smooth with a snapdragon 660 SoC chip. RS6 features a large 5” full HD 1080P display for a crisp image. The chassis is now full copper and HiBy has partnered with over 10 brands to provide tuning profiles for different IEMs with the RS6. It opens doors to countless upgrade possibilities in terms of tuning with different IEMs.
EMBEDDED WITH HiBy’s SELF-DEVELOPED DARWIN ARCHITECTURE
For the RS6, HiBy has designed a brand new digital signal processing architecture, known as the Darwin Architecture. They have designed this based on traditional R-2R ladder array architecture. The system includes resistor ladder linearity compensation. For the first time, an R-2R system is combined with advanced functions such as Linear FIR filter, Nonlinear harmonics control, switchable Oversampling/NOS filters, and DSD bypass on a portable device. It is fully configurable, creating endless possibilities for future upgrades on the system.

super smooth user interface. All thanks to the almighty 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The strong
processing power of the SoC makes an unprecedented 16x unfolding of MQA data possible, reproducing the
original master tape from ever smaller source files! MQA is an award-winning technology that captures and
reproduces the sound of the original studio master in a file that’s small enough to stream and download.

DIRECT TRANSPORT + BIT-PERFECT AUDIO ARCHITECTURE FOR PRISTINE SOUND
HiBy has featured Direct Transport Architecture (DTA), a system-wide bit-perfect audio architecture on the RS6. It provides you with bit-perfect audio across different applications on the device. Enjoy high-resolution lossless music with Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz, UAPP, and several other applications that support bit-perfect audio. The Direct Transport Architecture has always been known for defeating the originally mandatory sample rate conversion of android for the onboard headphone output. Now, DTA can also bypass sample rate conversion for third party apps even when using USB audio, achieving bit-perfect output from almost any app, to anywhere.
R-2R BASED AMPLIFICATION STAGE WITH DSD BYPASS FUNCTIONALITY
HiBy has designed the amplification stage for the RS6 on the R-2R ladder network. It brings the true potential of connected earphones with musicality, energy, and pure sound signal amplification. It has a discrete component current-mode amplification scheme designed with 1xOPA1642 and 2xOPA1612 op-amps for the current stage. The RS6 is equipped with 4 flagship-grade OPA1622 OP Amps for eight independent channels in a 2x2 parallel arrangement. RS6 also features separate LPF filters for both PCM and DSD signals. The DSD-specific LPF filters effectively reduce HF noise caused by the delta-sigma modulation process. It enables full native DSD decoding with the R-2R DAC system. This is all controlled by a professional NJW1195A digital volume controller for optimal control and ideal circuit dynamics at all times.
ADJUSTABLE 256-TAP FIR FILTER WITH OVERSAMPLING AND NOS FILTER
To preserve the linear phase and reproduce the original sound as the recording artist intended, The Darwin architecture supports up to 16x oversampling filters as well as a NOS filter. The R-2R algorithm is highly adjustable and adapts to different earphone configurations to provide a perfect pairing. You get to enjoy your earphones/headphones to their full potential with the RS6. The NOS mode bypasses oversampling and antialiasing providing a raw and direct signal conversion, while the oversampling mode removes aliasing artefacts and enables all functions of the Darwin architecture. Oversampling mode also allows personalised adjustments to the sound signature.
EARPHONE SPECIFIC TUNING AND CRYSTAL OSCILLATORS FOR ACCURACY
HiBy has already collaborated with 10 professional HiFi brands in and out of China, getting each brand’s sound tuning professional to tune the Darwin architecture’s various hardware parameters to their earphones’ characteristics to produce tailor-made tunings for each brand, all available at a touch of the screen. This is truly progressive and allows you to enjoy the best sound out of the RS6 and your favourite in-ears or headphones. HiBy RS6 features dual independent crystal oscillators clocked at 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz providing accurate synchronisation between the RS6 components. HiBy RS6 supports high-resolution wireless Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity with support
for high-resolution UAT, LDAC, AptX HD, AptX, AAC, SBC, wireless codecs. It also has 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi
connectivity for a reliable and stable wireless internet connection. It also has DLNA, Airplay, and WiFi
audio transfer functions and supports both Bluetooth audio reception (to wired earphones or USB output) and
Bluetooth audio transmission (to Bluetooth earphones). HiBy RS6 supports both single-ended and balanced
output ports and has separate ports for headphone output and line output. There are both 3.5mm and 4.4mm
ports one for line-out and another for headphone output for easy connectivity. The convenient HiByLink
function allows you to control your RS6 from the HiByMusic app on your smartphone, remotely controlling
playback, volume control, playlist management etc.!

RS6 is loaded with HiBy OS designed around an open Android 9 operating system. The HiBy OS is HiBy’s in-house developed system architecture for HiFi audio, optimised from the ground up for accurate audio processing and adapted to the Android 9 OS, it opens the system up for free installation of any Android app and also supports advanced audio functions such as USB audio input and output, wireless audio input and output and system wide audio effects. It has support for countless music and media applications on the play store.
WI-FI, BLUETOOTH AND INDEPENDENT HEADPHONE AND LINEOUT PORTS
HiBy RS6 supports high-resolution wireless Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity with support
for high-resolution UAT, LDAC, AptX HD, AptX, AAC, SBC, wireless codecs. It also has 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi
connectivity for a reliable and stable wireless internet connection. It also has DLNA, Airplay, and WiFi
audio transfer functions and supports both Bluetooth audio reception (to wired earphones or USB output) and
Bluetooth audio transmission (to Bluetooth earphones). HiBy RS6 supports both single-ended and balanced
output ports and has separate ports for headphone output and line output. There are both 3.5mm and 4.4mm
ports one for line-out and another for headphone output for easy connectivity. The convenient HiByLink
function allows you to control your RS6 from the HiByMusic app on your smartphone, remotely controlling
playback, volume control, playlist management etc.!
BUILT WITH QUALITY COMPONENTS AND COMES BUNDLED WITH ACCESSORIES
The HiBy RS6 has been engineered to offer the most engaging experience both aesthetically and in terms of audio reproduction. To enable this, RS6 is embedded with a 4500mAh high-capacity battery that offers up to 8.5 hours of continuous playtime and 25-day of standby time. RS6 supports Quick Charge QC3.0 for charging power of up to 18W. The RS6 features a stunning Hi-Res 5” 1080p display with Corning Gorilla glass and offers a resolution of 190x1080 pixels. The external shell is made of all copper and is available in a champagne gold colour. In the package you get a Brown leather case to protect the RS6 along with a screen protector, USB Type C cable and a USB Type C - RCA Digital Coaxial Cable to get you started.
