Noise Cancellation refers to blocking out background noise/ambient noise. But let's be clear: No Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones can eliminate all sound; they can only considerably reduce outside noise, creating the impression that the noise is suppressed. However, when the phrase "Active Noise Cancellation" is used, it signifies that the Wireless Headphones are actively searching for noise to block it out.
ANC is a technology that reduces or cancels out the surrounding or ambient noise. It reduces low-frequency noise like the sound of a jet engine or car engine. The Focal Bathys is an excellent-sounding debut ANC wireless headphone and certainly a considerable upgrade on all the previous wireless closed-backs I have reviewed to date.
The Bathys from Focal are the best-sounding wireless headphones I've heard yet. Exceptionally open sound, Highly detailed, USB DAC, Solid battery/fast charging, Bluetooth multipoint.
The design is eccentric in appearance with real leather used for the headband, with curvy earcups that feature grilles to help provide its distinctive Focal aesthetic.
They sound good. The ANC works well. Balance achieved. But for pure music listening, the Bathys understandably lag behind the rest of Focal’s traditional headphone lineup.
After spending a ton of time with the Bathys, I firmly believe it to be one of a kind. For now, there is no other headphone that blends the experience of premium headphones with Bluetooth.

i have hearing damage so i can't really tell the difference between these and like sonys or boses unfortunately
